Hostel Rodia

The Hostel Rodia is in the most important green area of Oristano and is just 3 km  from the beautiful beach of Torregrande. It is situated in the centre of Oristano, very close to the "Sa Rodia" park and to the sports area of the city where it is possible to go horse-riding, play golf, tennis and football. Its vicinity to famous seaside resorts is an excellent opportunity for those who love sailing, and scuba diving,  as well as going on more characteristic excursions to the  protected marine areas of the Sinis Peninsula– "Maldiventre Island".

ROOMS
The Hostel has been recently built and has 132 beds.
There area variety of room types with a private bathroom. The common area has a number of computers for guests in need of  the Internet for brief  periods of time (check and download mail) without resorting to a proper office.
Soon there shall be a wireless connection area  where guests can go on the internet with their laptops.

AREA
Oristano is a charming town with an old city centre still wonderfully intact in many areas and worth a visit. Here it is possible to visit Piazza Roma with the Tower of San Cristoforo, the house of Eleonora D'Alborea  dating back to the fourteenth century, the Parpaglia Palace, the "Antiquarium Arborense" (a museum with a large archeological collection of the Neolithic period and of the Primitive, Punic and Roman ages in Sardinia.
Oristano overlooks the sea and has about 35 km of  sandy  and at some points rocky beaches. The beach of Torregrande is a short bike ride from the Hostel.
