Archeological paths

Despite the fact that it is an island, Sardinia is not exactly the land of fishermen but rather that of farmers and shepherds. This is proven by the ancient archaeological vestiges spread over the entire island. The Nuraghe Losa, Nuraghic village in Barumini, Nuraghe Palmavera...are just a few of the symbols of silence, entrenched as fortresses, solemn as temples and as fascinating as an enigma that testifies a timeless civilisation. We cannot forget the tombs either, the so-called Domus de Janas, Menhir and dolmen, which tell us of people and ancient beliefs. Even the small Nuraghic bronzes, for the most part found in Nuoro, are the living proof of Sardinia's very ancient civilisation.
